Welcome!
My name is Mr. Miller and I will be your child’s fourth grade teacher this year! I greatly look forward to getting to know you and your son/daughter over the course of this school year. I created this website to give you an in-depth look at the content we are exploring in the classroom. Within this website you will find information and resources relating to mathematics and literacy that your child can use at home. “Practice makes perfect” is the philosophy I have shared with your children from day one of this school year. This website will allow for your son/daughter to practice the skills they have been using in the classroom, to broaden their knowledge, and continue to learn.
As you and your child are navigating through this website, you will find various games, apps, and additional websites for your child to utilize. By taking advantage of these out-of-school resources, your child will be practicing their skills in a fun, yet educational way. On this website you will also find two fourth-grade appropriate children's books that integrate mathematics and literacy skills. Practicing vocabulary terms and word problems with your child is essential to their long-term understanding. The vocabulary page of this website contains important vocabulary terms that your child is learning within the classroom. Be sure to take advantage of the parent/child activities found within this website.
Thank you!
